SOUTH AFRICA: Nyanza Will Use Avertana Technology to Make TiO2 from Highveld Slag

Arkein International (headquartered in Ebene, Mauritius) has made substantial progress since first announcing the creation of Nyanza Light Metals Ltd. in June 2013, with the aim of using stockpiled slag from Emalahleni/Witbank as a feedstock for making TiO2 pigment. Emalahleni is located in Mpumulanga province (135 km east-northeast of Johannesburg).
