Mr Alex Pellizzoni (Endeka, Zircon Trading)

Mr Alex Pellizzoni, well-known to many in the global zircon industry, passed away at his home in Melbourne last September. Mr Pellizzoni had gained his BSc degree in Chemistry at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and had had around 40 years' experience in the marketing of processed zircon, notably with Endeka Ceramics (headquartered in Castellon, Spain) and its predecessors. Onwards from 1998 until he retired from Endeka in March 2016, he had been a Vice President, responsible for the group's strategic raw materials procurement.
