Brief remarks on Toshio Kawai's response to my SAP lecture

Who better than Toshio to remind us that cultural context is highly significant when Western approaches to and systems of psychology spread outside their homelands? Leaving aside questions of colonialism and missionarianism - never mind the commercial aspect that I mentioned in my lecture - it has also and ever been inspiring to see the move from one analytical psychology to a world in which there are many analytical psychologies. Jungian analysis has, like it or not in the hallowed halls of Zurich and London, broken free of its roots. Hence, the call that I made for an exotericism has, albeit not on purpose, been partially answered.
