Rebar in Turkey stabilises, but softer prices look likely

After declining at the start of the month in line with lower scrap, offers for rebar in Turkey crept upwards slightly in mid-May following some fresh bookings for scrap. But deal prices in rebar fell short of the asking prices and they look set to remain stable or even soften over the coming week given the $1/t to $2/t easing in scrap prices in recent days.
