First growth in global agrochemical market for a decade

The global agrochemical market saw its first real growth in the past decade in 2004,according to the latest review by Allan Woodburn Associates.Worldwide sales at the end-user level rose by 11.1 % to US32,665 million.Excluding inflation and currency factors,sales in real terms were up by 4.6%.This was the greatest increase for ten years and the second largest expansion since 1984,Mr Woodburn comments.
