APOLOGY AND RETRACTION FROM MR GERRY PORE TO MR IAN GLOVER AND CORROTEK CONSULTANTS PTY LTD

I, Gerry Pore wish to state the following with respect to Corrotek Consultants Pty Ltd and Mr Glover, who have my article "A Time and a Place" as sent by email from Novacoat on 13 November 2001 to members of the Zinc Rich Coatings Council.1. My statement "after the enforced dismissal of the client's Consultant" is not correct. The "Consultant" referred to has informed me that there is a Sub-Consultancy Agreement in place with Sinclair Knight Merz to provide ongoing consultancy services with respect to coatings issues associated with the West Angelas Project.2. My statement that the Consultant (Corrotek), was dismissed because of their "obstinate and obstructive" resistance to the request of a contractor engaged in the West Angelas Project for a change from WB-IZS to SB-IZS is not correct. I am now aware that Corrotek advised SKM that such a change could be permitted subject to stringent conditions.
