Syngenta sales up 10% in Q3

Increased sales across all product categories and regions resulted in a 9.6% rise in Syngenta's agrochemical revenues to $1,763 million in the third quarter of 2010. Sales were up by 11% at constant exchange rates (CER). An 18% increase in volumes was partly offset by a 7% decline in prices, or 5% if the herbicide, glyphosate, is excluded. That represents an improvement over the second quarter, the company says.
