Review sites may be open to manipulation but a convincing mass of good reviews will improve customer confidence, meanwhile direct customer testimonials are worth their weight in revenue. If you want to track down a good restaurant, search on Yelp. If you want to check out how a potential future employer treats its employees, you go to Glassdoor. And if you want to find a plumber who isn't going to rip you off you pay a visit to Trustpilot.
