China re-allows tax-free exports of pulp, paper made of imported woodchips

China now permits tax exemptions on exports of all wood pulp, paper and board that is furnished with imported woodchips. The move, which came to effect on Tuesday, is part of the Ministry of Commerce's removal of prohibitions on the processing trade of 199 kinds of commodities, including some steel and chemical products.
