China's Xinya Paper resurrects boxboard project, converts straw pulp line for wood pulp

Xinya Paper Group is reviving plans to erect a 400,000 tonne/yr cartonboard machine and an integrated 240,000 tonne/ yr alkaline peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) line at its mill in Xinxiang city, in China's central province of Henan. The pulp line used to produce softwood chemi-thermomechanical pulp at an unknown facility in Canada.
