The Indian paper and board industry is at a standstill as the national and state governments scramble to stop the spread of Covid-19. The country saw many mill closures in the latter part of March as individual states introduced restrictions on movement and non-essential activities. And then on the evening of March 24, the national government announced a comprehensive 21-day lockdown including the cessation of most industrial activities.
