Jiangxi Wuxing fires up new 150,000 tonne/yr MG paper machine at Jiujiang mill in China

China's Jiangxi Wuxing Paper started trial production on a 150,000 tonne/yr specialty paper machine at its mill in Jiujiang city, Jiangxi province last week. The unit, sourced second-hand from an unnamed mill in South Korea, has a width of 4.95 m and a design speed of 1,200 m/min. Its output will be machine-glazed paper for food packaging with a basis weight of up to 80 g/m3.
