Hot-runner supplier Synventive part of Briston, Barnes Group Inc. has introduced the third generation of its Synflow technology, designed to give molders more control over plastic flow and to solve common defect problems on large parts like automotive instrument panels.With Synflow3, injection molders can slow the opening of the pin in a hot runner for a set distance and hold at that position until closing, or alternate different moves within a cycle.
