European production of PU products is expected to grow by an average of 2.9% per year over the next five years, from 6.47m t in 2017 to 7.47m t in 2022, according to a report by IAL Consultants (London / UK; www.ialconsultants.com). Growth in the mature western European market is forecast at 2.3% annually over the five year period, with faster growth of 3.6% expected in eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
