Global sales to reach USD 13 bn by 2025 / Strong demand for food containers and auto components

The global EPS market is projected to reach about USD 12.97 bn (EUR 11.0 bn) by 2025, lifted by rising use of single-use food containers and increasing demand for lightweight automotive parts, according to a report from Grand View Research (San Francisco, California / USA; www.grandviewresearch.com). Favourable government policies in emerging markets, including Brazil, China, India and Vietnam, are also expected to contribute to growth. For example, India's "Make in India" policy was introduced in September 2014 to promote investments in domestic manufacturing.
