In November,the now significant fall in demand from the automotive market put pressure on European prices of the major engineering plastics.With this,both PC and PA 6 saw price reductions for the first time after a long upward phase,although they could still be described as moderate.PA 6.6,which continues to be very short,became stuck in a rollover at a high level,even though some producers had been seeking further hikes.The other types remained stable,partly because of impacts on shipping due to the shallow Rhine river.
