PLASTICS Releases 'Green' Buying Guide

The Plastics industry Association (PLASTICS) has published a new guide that aims to help plastics businesses in their efforts to sell products to environmentally minded institutions. Developed by the group's Recycling Committee, this new Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Guide offers an introduction to the various EPP policies that firms can use to make their products more appealing for institutional purchasers in both the public and private sectors, which account for $10 trillion annually in the United States alone. This can include highlighting products that contain recycled content or that have other environmentally friendly qualities.
