Scrap import prices reached mid-Juneon a positive note, hitting $350/mt CFRTurkey for the first time since the middleof the previous month. Turkish importingmills were said to have found someoptimism from improved rebar salesinto the US. This boosted sentiment thatrebar business could be found in the USand Europe and led to some restockingof drawn scrap inventories, some marketsources noted.
