The effect of solar energy trap on seed germination, seedling growth, chlorophyll content and mineral status of seedlings have been described, In Solanum melongena germination under solar energy trap was increased to 110.00% and that of Capsicum annumto 104.87%. The length, fresh weight and dry weight of epicotyls and radicle were also increased in solar energy trap conditions. The epicotyl accumulates 133.34%. 130.76% and radicle 146.15%, 120% more dry weight in brinjal and chilly respectively. Thenitrogen, phosphorus and chlorophyll content in the epicotyls and radicle were also influenced.
