A partnership of Arkema, King of Prussia, Pa., with Xenia, an Italian compounder with expertise in specialty fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites (xeniamaterials.com), has resulted in a range of short-carbon-fiber compounds based on Arkema's Kynar PVDC fluoropolymer. Designed for injection molding and extrusion, these compounds are targeted to wide range of specialty applications in the chemical-processing industry that require extreme durability.
