A new non-contact imaging spectrophotometer is said to meet the needs of the plastics and coatings industries. The MetaVue VS3200 from X-Rite Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich., is reportedly the first non-contact instrument for industrial applications that combines color imaging with spectrophotometry to characterize today's most complex materials. It is suited to lab or quality-control operations and is said to offer unmatched color accuracy for measurement of plastic samples, liquids, powders and gels. It will be featured at NPE2018 (booth S19037).
