(a). Global Production: According to ICO, Global Production during 2017-18 was estimated at 158.56 million bags marginally lower than the previous crop of 159.04 million bags. During 2017-18 Brazil produced 32% world crop followed by Vietnam, 18.5 %,Colombia 8.8% Indonesia 7.5%, Ethiopia 4.8%, and India was at 7th at 3.7%.The US department of Agriculture forecast for 2018-19 is a record crop of 171.2 million bags and record consumption of 163.2 million bags in the same year 2018-19.
