摘要

The review is devoted to an experimental method for muon catalysis investigation based on the detection of neutrons produced in the negative muon catalyzed fusion reaction. This method has a great advantage over others, because it allows measurements in a wide range of temperature and density of D/T or H/D/T mixtures, which is very important for the full knowledge of the investigated process. This paper is predominantly based on the investigations of the Dubna group, which achieved a high progress in the development of a method concerning both the detector parameters and the new means of analysis.
