Plant names used in folk song by tribals from Danta Taluka, Gujarat.

摘要

A survey was carried out in the tribes of Danta Taluka in Gujarat India to identify plant names commonly used in folk and love songs by the tribes people. A total of 26 plant species belonging to 25 genera and 22 families were recorded. Some of the plants recorded have been used as medicine since the Vedic period.
