Supply cuts buoyed crude prices this week, but accelerating Covid-19 infection rates in the US and fears of a second wave in Asia-Pacifc are dragging on products. Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated rose by $2.04/bl to $42.94/bl in the week to 2 July, while August deliveries of US benchmark WTI climbed by $1.93/bl to $40.65/bl. Mideast Gulf sour crude marker Dubai was up by $2.17/bl to $42.75/bl.
