Demand to the rescue

Supply-driven pressure continues to dominate oil markets, but the long-awaited demand-side drain on inflated stocks is beginning to take effect. Crude prices were mixed. US light sweet marker WTI rose by 56￠/bl to $46.08/bl in the week to 13 July, while Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated declined by 65￠/bl to $47.89/bl.
