A New Species of the Genus Verchojania Abramov (Brachiopoda, Productida) from the Upper Carboniferous of the Northern Verkhoyansk Region

The diagnosis of the genus Verchojania Abramov, 1970 was revised and clarified. The main differences between the Verchojania and morphologically similar genus Jakutoproductus Kaschirzew, 1959 are substantiated. A new species of Verchojaniaabramovi sp. nov. is described from the Jakutoproductus protoverkhoyanicus Zone of the Kygyltasian Horizon of the Upper Carboniferous of the lower reaches of the Lena River.
