Ultrabright Light Ready for Science: 28 Beamlines at the National Synchrotron Light Source II are Ready for Diverse, World-Class Research

Over the last year, the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLSII)- a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science User Facility at DOE's Brookhaven National Laboratory-ramped up its experimental capacities and advanced capabilities, now offering 28 beamlines that are open for users and an accelerator current to 400 mA. The 28 beamlines cover a large variety of scientific endeavors, from research in structural biology to novel quantum materials, by offering ultrabright synchrotron light from the far infrared (IR) to the hard X-ray.
