Shree Balika Samriddhi Yojna

What started as a Corporate Social Responsibility experiment in 2014 has touched the lives of hundreds of poor girls in India and given them the self-respect and confidence to face challenges. They now dream of giving their children what they themselves never got in life. Even more, the initiative is slowly influencing communities to rethink some of the age-old customs and practices that adversely affect the girl child. The Shree Balika SamriddhiYojna, a CSR initiative of Shree Cement Limited, shows how meaningful social initiatives can transform lives and have a positive impact on society.
