Rail-to-rail op amp with inbuilt EMI protection

EMI - electromagnetic inter- ference - is the bane of engi- neers and cir- cuit designers everywhere. Among a host of problems, EMI causes DC errors, increased current consumption and unwanted tones. Now Microchip have introduced the MCP6411, a single, general purpose op amp offering integrated EMI protection and rail-to-rail input/output over the 1.7 to 5.5V operating range. This amplifier has a typical GBWP of 1 MHz, with typical quiescent current of 50μA.
