Having been with Barclays Corporate Banking for 45 years, logistics expert Rob Riddleston has now decided to opt for a more flexible schedule. Appointed to a non-executive position at Xpediator and running his own consultative business, Rob discusses what this new phase of life will entail. SHD Logistics (SHD): Was logistics an industry you wanted to work in when you were younger? Rob Riddleston (RR): I think that most things you do in life usually happens by accident rather than design. When I joined Barclays in 1972, it was simply one of the options open to me and I decided to do it and see how it went. And 40 years later I was still there!
