摘要

Intevac's latest technology developments in the field of free-form prism based near-eye display are presented. The optical design process and system level considerations are discussed in the context of Intevac's recently launched WX40 wireless helmetmounted near-eye display. This display delivers full HD resolution at exceptionally low latency across an ultra-wideband link, providing untethered viewing over a range of several meters. This is achieved in a ruggedized, compact, low power package with full environmental sealing for operation in military and industrial environments.
