摘要

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a collection of battery powered autonomous sensor devices that are intended to perform transmission of the sensed information from the environment. The resource constraint nature of the network retards the performance of the network with greater vulnerability towards external attacks. In this work an Intelligent Mobile Agent (IMA) based WSN security enhancement approach by exploiting the autonomous nature of the nodes to perform independent task is proposed. The network optimization tasks are distributed among the agents that aids in selecting secure neighbor for transmission, congestion aware transmission and data gathering. Scrutinizing Agent ensures selection of optimal neighbor based on its trust, Mobile Collector Agent facilitates data gathering process and Dispatching Agent ensures congestion-less transmission. The three agents assimilate their operations to ensure optimal data transmission. To provide data authentication and confidentiality, end-to-end concealed data aggregation based on digital signature is incorporated for all the transmissions. The network is provisioned with node-level and network-level security measures so as to minimize the impact of adversaries and to bridge the gap between security, energy and optimization.
