Philippine billet market stabilises

The Philippine billet market has stabilised after a series of price hikes, Kallanish notes. While some saw more offers in the market on Friday, others say that the market remains changeable. During the week, market participants reported deals for Malaysian-origin 130mm billet and 150mm billet at $480/tonne cfr Manila. The tonnage for the 150mm billet could be small as it was a trial lot, traders say.
