Material Handlers and Excavators are not Cranes

Proposed changes to OSHA regulations for construction cranes and derricks might affect ISRI members because of confusion over the use of the term crane to refer to a material handler or excavator. OSHA has proposed updates to its standard for the education and training it requires for cranes and derrick operators.
