摘要

This paper proposes an endpoint detection method based on short-time Fourier transform (STFT), which can be applied to fiber optic interferometric vibration sensing systems. This scheme consists of time-frequency analysis, feature extraction and thresholds judgment. Field experimental results demonstrate that the average error of 100 experiments of the proposed scheme is lower than the error of the short-time zero-crossing ratio method. The mean processing time (0.149 s) is lower than the sampling time (0.3 s), which allows the system to perform continuous in-field intrusion detection related applications.
