MAGNOLIA BLOOMS FROM SPAC

After raising $650 million by taking public a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) roughly a year ago, TPG Pace Energy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: TPGE) has in place fundraising of a further $655 million as it creates a new entity by way of a "carve-out" of EnerVest's Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk assets. The new entity, Magnolia Oil and Gas Corp., is due to start trading on the NYSE under a new ticker upon closing of the deal, which is expected to occur late in the second quarter of this year.
