Localization of Blades Manufacturing Will Give a Boost to Composite Industry Development

Composite materials (composites, CM) are an icing on a large cake of wind generation with hundreds of billions rubles of investments. The 18% share of wind turbine blade in local manufacturing content gives a certain promise that composites are one of the important components. If all three market players decide to enter mass blades production in Russia, in some areas it will double composites sector volume, and in some areas will result in 5 times sector increase.
