Scotiabank expects geopolitical events will keep oil prices strong next year despite slow global economic growth.The bank expects West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude will average US$95 a barrel in 2012, on par with its forecast of US$95 a barrel for this year. Brent crude is expected to average US$108 a barrel next year, down from an expected average 2011 price of US$111.
