Singapore expects 15% GDP growth this year

Singapore expects its economy to soar 15% this year after surging manufacturing fuelled a record expansion in the second quarter. Gross domestic product grew 19.3% in the second quarter from a year earlier and jumped an annualised seasonally-adjusted 26%, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement.
