摘要

Concentrations of size-resolved airborne matter measured in Phoenix, Arizona in 1995-1996 indicate a strong linear relationship between the soil components of PM_(2.5) and the intermodal PM concentration and similarly between the nonsoil components of PM_(2.5) and the PM_1 concentration. Moreover, the ratio of PM_1 to intermodal PM varies considerably at al reported cencentrations of PM_(2.5), and this variation appears to be systematically related to the proportion of PM_(2.5) comprised of soil components.
