With the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) canceled, developers of the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) said the line is needed now more than ever - and greens are making it their top target. As planned, the MVP will carry up to 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day 303 miles from West Virginia to Mid- and South Atlantic markets. MVP said the demise of ACP means its capacity can serve a region where demand for stable fuel needs is growing. But a spokesperson for Chesapeake Climate Action Group said, "They are farther along in the construction process, but they've also faced numerous environmental issues."
