A three-person panel in Blanco County, Texas, has ordered Kinder Morgan to pay three landowners a total of $2.7 million in a widening eminent domain battle over the proposed Permian Highway Pipeline in the Texas Hill Country.

Kinder Morgan is developing the proposed $2 billion pipeline to carry up to 2.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from the basin to the Katy Hub near Houston. A three- member panel of the Blanco County Special Commissioners has ordered developer Kinder Morgan to pay $1.3 million to one landowner; $900,000 to a second; and $600,000 to a third.
