Inter Pipeline plans Alberta upgrader:north America

Calgary-based Inter Pipeline has proposed building a new petrochemical upgrading facility in Alberta that would convert 60,000 t/yr of propylene into 80,000 t/yr of acrylic acid and propylene derivatives. The proposed facility would cost C$600mn ($450mn) to build and would receive C$70mn in future royalty credits under the Alberta Petrochemical Diversifcation programme.
