thailand’s LPG imports fall as Covid-19 hits tourism

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Thailand’s tourism sector has mitigated the need for the country to import any LPG this year to meet domestic demand. The country is expected to import around 200,000t of LPG in the second half of 2020, around the same volume it imported during the frst half. But the imports will be earmarked for either re-export to neighbouring markets that take small pressurised cargoes or to meet system demand at state-controlled oil frm PTT.
