Horizontal Directional Drilling Method for Pipeline Crossing (NK-RAPID)

摘要

Horizontal directional drilling method for pipeline crossing, drills from the surface of the ground an arched hole along a designed directional path beneath obstructions and installs a pipeline through the drilled hole. NKK agreed Cherrington Corporation in USA with technical transfer about HDD. NKK called this method NK-RAPID, and applied in pipeline crossings at Hong Kong project. The present paper gives the outline of NK-RAPID and Hong Kong project.
