SYGNIS AG STRENGTHENS MANAGEMENT TEAM WITH APPOINTMENT OF DR. HEIKKI LANCKRIET

SYGNIS AG today announced the appointment of Heikki Lanckriet, PhD, currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Expedeon Holdings Ltd., as co-CEO and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). The CSO role is a newly created position at SYGNIS. Dr. Lanckriet's appointment became effective on August 5,2016. He will also become a member of the Management Board of SYGNIS, along with Pilar de la Huerta, who will serve as co-CEO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the combined organization.
