As pipeline expansions continue to come under siege from greens, landowners and state water regulators, gas industry officials are increasingly concerned about the lack of strategy for addressing these persistent and costly roadblocks. With activists better able to organize than ever through social media and other means, outreach and planning have become a core focus in trying to overcome opposition, Doug Walker, vice president of business development for Tallgrass Energy, told a panel at the LDC Midcontinent Gas Forums conference in Chicago.
