Feds Grant Williams Two-Year Extension on Constitution Pipeline

The federal government has given Williams until December 2020 to get all the approvals needed to build its long-delayed Constitution Pipeline from Pennsylvania to New York.Before it can build the gas line,however,Williams must get a water quality certification from New York,where officials denied the permit in 2016,saying the company failed to provide sufficient information to determine whether the project would comply with state water standards.
