Turkish longs exporters hope demand to improve soon

In view of slack demand for longs in foreign markets in the period of Ramadanand summer holidays, as well as because scrap price increases have stalled,Turkish exporters have had to cut prices to foreign buyers by $10-15/t overthe week. Although buying activity has not improved yet, some marketplayers are sure they will conclude business next week as the Muslim religiousholidays are coming to an end.
